The electrical and electronic giant Philips was founded in 1892 at Eindhoven by Gerard Philips and his father Frederik Philips. It all started in a modest factory in Eindhoven manufacturing bulbs and over the last 125 years Philips grew into a global company with headquarters in Amsterdam. The museum is housed in the same factory where Philips produced it first bulb and showcases the 125 years of history and growth of Philips company through various exhibits, products, models and interactive displays.
